FreedomWorks Statement in Response to Over 4,000 Duplicate Mail Ballots in Pennsylvania
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to the news that over 4,000 Pennsylvania voters have received duplicate mail ballots, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:
"Ever since states across the country have adopted widespread voting by mail, we have seen a steady stream of malfeasance, error, fraud, and disenfranchisement accompany the practice. Though this incident in Pennsylvania is just one among many, it is nonetheless cause for grave concern. Issues like these in crucial swing states such as Pennsylvania– with less than two weeks to go until the election– undermine voters’ faith in the electoral system and add unnecessary confusion and chaos to what should be a secure and seamless process. Voting in person is the only way to make sure that your vote counts this election.”
