FreedomWorks Statement in Response to the Supreme Court’s Decision to Stay President Biden’s Illegal Vaccine Mandate
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to the Supreme Court’s decision to stay President Biden’s illegal vaccine mandate, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:
“FreedomWorks applauds the Supreme Court’s decision to prevent President Joe Biden’s blatantly illegal vaccine mandate from taking effect.”
“OSHA’s vaccine mandate is one of the most far-reaching and brazen examples of executive overreach taken by a president in recent memory. The mandate required 85 million private sector employees to get vaccinated or incur an expensive weekly COVID test. As a result, because employees must cover the costs of their own test, many employees would have been forced out of the workplace instead of complying with this costly regulation. It is past time that this mandate be relegated to the ash heap of history, where it belongs."
“FreedomWorks’ grassroots activists led the charge to combat the actions of this runaway President and his unlawful vaccine mandate. More than 1500 activists filed their own comments opposing the mandate, and more than 2300 activists signed onto FreedomWorks Foundation’s comment.”
