FreedomWorks Supports Early Voting Reform and Anti-Critical Race Theory Legislation in Arizona

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, FreedomWorks released two letters of support for H.B. 2905 and H.B. 2906, introduced by Arizona State Representative Jake Hoffman. H.B. 2905 requires individuals to request an early ballot and H.B. 2906 bans critical race theory training in public institutions.

Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President commented:

“While we are discouraged by Governor Doug Ducey’s veto of legislation to ban mass mail-in ballots and critical race theory, we are encouraged by the actions of the Arizona legislature to heed the will of its constituents and not give up the fight. Restoring trust in our elections and eliminating critical race theory will continue to be a priority for FreedomWorks activists across the country.

We urge the Arizona House and Senate to immediately pass these bills again, and urge Governor Ducey to do the right thing and sign these bills into law.”
