ICYMI: FreedomWorks Hosts Protect the Vote, Protect the Seat Virtual Press Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. — To conclude our first Election Protection activist fly-in, FreedomWorks held a press conference this morning calling on the Senate to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the United States Supreme Court. Noah Wall, FreedomWorks Executive Vice President, commented:

“This past weekend, over 80 FreedomWorks activists from across the country attended trainings, panels, and lectures on the important issues of election security and integrity. These folks will go back to their home states with the toolkit to engage in their communities and ensure that the November elections are both free and fair.

“Nonetheless, Democratic controlled states such as Pennsylvania have all but guaranteed that we will not know the results of the 2020 Election on the night of November 3rd. Seeing as the nation will need a full complement of nine Supreme Court justices to rule on any cases that will arise from this election, it is critical that Senate Republicans confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett.”

The press conference featured Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.); Cleta Mitchell, Foley & Lardner LLP; Noah Wall, FreedomWorks; Christian Adams, Public Interest Legal; Gineen Bresso, Lawyers Democracy Fund; and FreedomWorks Activists from across the nation including key battleground states.
