FreedomWorks for America announced a statewide “Get out the Vote” tour to distribute grassroots materials to activists across Mississippi supporting Chris McDaniel in the GOP Senate primary runoff.
The first wave of materials purchased will include 20,000 lawn signs and an additional 40,000 door hangers. Activists will be taking the materials to use for block walking coordinated by geographic area and high-need precincts for the runoff.
“The fate of this runoff will depend on who has the strongest ‘get out the vote’ operation on the ground,” commented Matt Kibbe, President of FreedomWorks for America. “Low turnout runoff elections are advantageous to the challenger, and there are thousands of grassroots activists across the state who are ready for round two. We plan to give them the materials and resources they need to take action and get Chris McDaniel over the finish line.”
FreedomWorks for America will also continue educating voters through a targeted calling program and aggressive online campaign, reaching hundreds of thousands of registered Republicans and likely conservative voters on the internet using search, display, video, and social advertising.
