Polling Reveals Voters Trust Republicans to Tackle Kitchen Table Issues

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A national survey by Scott Rasmussen from October 25-27 provides critical insight into voters’ lack of trust in the Democratic Party and their failure to resolve kitchen table issues negatively affecting everyday Americans. Survey highlights include:

  • When asked which party they trust more to handle immigration, 43 percent of voters said they trust Republicans while only 28 percent of voters said they trust Democrats.
  • When asked which party they trust more to handle inflation, 43 percent of voters said they trust Republicans while only 32 percent of voters said they trust Democrats.

Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:

“You would have to live under a rock to not realize how damaging the Biden administration’s failed policies have been to our great nation. Everyday Americans are feeling the effects of inflation every time they fill up their gas tanks or buy something at the grocery store, and every state is effectively a border state with illegal aliens being transported across the nation by the Biden administration in the middle of the night under the cloak of darkness and illicit fentanyl killing our youth. Crime is skyrocketing while the Left is celebrating the ‘defund the police’ movement, and blue state district attorneys are letting criminals off the hook.”

A voter referendum on the Democrats’ radical agenda is quickly approaching, and Republicans must seize the opportunity to restore fiscal responsibility, secure our nation’s southern border and make our streets safe once again.”
