FreedomWorks announced that Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) signed the Pro-Growth Pledge Sunday morning at a special event in Washington, D.C. with FreedomWorks’ super activists. The pledge is a statement of principles showing the signer’s commitment to economic growth through fundamental tax reform, reductions in spending, regulatory reform, sound money, energy freedom, and patient-centered health care. Rep. Meadows joins Reps. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) and Dave Brat (R-Va.) as signers. The full text of FreedomWorks’ Pro-Growth Pledge is available here.
“Rep. Meadows is a rock star in the eyes of our activists. Not only did his efforts fire John Boehner resonate with our community, he is a tireless advocate for fiscally conservative, pro-growth policies that are absolutely essential to getting our economy moving again,” said FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon. “We thank Rep. Meadows for his conservative leadership and look forward to working with him on restoring economic growth and opportunity for all Americans.”
