Scott Rasmussen Polling Shows Less Than a Third of Americans Support Sending Troops to Ukraine

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to recent polling by Scott Rasmussen that shows only 31 percent of Americans support sending troops to Ukraine and only 11 percent say that Biden is doing an excellent job handling the situation, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:

“The one thing that President Biden has done right so far is refuse to commit troops to Ukraine. If Biden wants to wage a war against Russia, then he needs to go to Congress for such authority. NATO doesn’t get to decide how the U.S. responds. The American people, through their elected representatives in Congress, must decide whether we should enter into a possible world war or work towards peace. The latter is the best option for the U.S., our allies, and the world.”
