Suspected Maryland Ballot Harvesting Undermines Public Confidence in Electoral Process
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to the Anne Arundel County (Md.) Board of Elections’ report last night of suspected ballot harvesting, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:
“Whether or not the Anne Arundel County Board of Elections’ report turns out to be true is moot. The truth of the matter is that it undermines Americans’ faith in the electoral process. The push for widespread voting by mail opens the door to situations like these where Americans question whether or not their votes will even matter, and ultimately the results of the election. What Anne Arundel County is reporting would likely not have happened under normal circumstances.”
FreedomWorks will host the first of two activist fly-ins this coming weekend, October 2-5, in Washington, D.C on the issue of election integrity.
