Unemployment Down, Economy Up, Wages Up

FreedomWorks Vice President of Advocacy Noah Wall released the following comment on Mark Zandy, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, optimistic predictions about our continually improving economy:

"Jobs are being created faster than people are entering the workforce. After the Trump administration’s ending ObamaCare’s individual mandate, fundamentally reforming the tax code, and slashing regulations, things are looking up: growth around 3 percent, optimism by economists about our future growth, unemployment rates headed down, and wages rising. That’s how a freer market works.

"The number of people receiving unemployment benefits has hit a 44-year low because people are getting jobs, both bettering their lives and lessening the burden on taxpayers."
