UnitedHealth Group’s Exit from ObamaCare Markets Another Example of Havoc Obama, Democrats Created

Following a report that UnitedHealth Group, the nation’s largest health insurance company, plans to exit most ObamaCare markets, FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon commented:

“The unraveling of ObamaCare is just beginning. UnitedHealth’s decision to leave the exchanges is simply another example of the havoc this disastrous law has created. The problems don’t begin or end with one health insurer. Others are expressing serious concerns about the sustainability of ObamaCare. Consumers, of course, will bear the costs of diminished competition and higher premiums if more insurers decide to follow UnitedHealth’s lead.”

“Unfortunately, at the moment, this serious issue is almost entirely absent from the national discussion. The groundwork has been laid for the right president to sign the repeal of ObamaCare into law. We hope that ObamaCare repeal will come back into the national spotlight and alternatives will be offered that promote patient-friendly policies and consumer freedom.”
