Support the Stop CRT Act, H.R. 3179

On behalf of FreedomWorks’ activist community, I urge you to contact your representative and ask him or her to cosponsor the Stop CRT Act, H.R. 3179, introduced by Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.).

The Stop CRT Act would ban federal funding to any entity that advances critical race theory. The legislation would also reinstate President Trump’s Executive Order 13950, which blocked the use of federal funds to promote these concepts in training programs for federal workers and federal contractors. President Biden revoked Executive Order 13950 on his first day in office.

The woke ideology of Critical Race Theory (CRT) is antithetical to the foundational principles of our nation. Labeling meritocracy and color blindness as aspects of bias, CRT discards individualism and replaces it with the idea that the mere color of one’s skin determines whether one is an oppressor or oppressed.

CRT erodes our institutions and founding principles, deeming them hopelessly racist. Viewing society solely through the lens of race, CRT is in fact a racist theory. It turns the American ideal that people are individuals on its head, teaching that we are all products of our race. We must fight the spread of this toxic ideology into our schools and workplaces.

For these reasons, I urge you to contact your representative and ask him or her to cosponsor the Stop CRT Act, H.R. 3179.

Sincerely,

Adam Brandon, President, FreedomWorks
