The Democrats are on a roll. The past couple of weeks have been a political parade of one disaster after another, all to the benefit of President Trump’s reelection campaign.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren made another pitch for her “2 cents” wealth tax plan during the fifth Democratic debate in Atlanta on Wednesday night, this time with the added bonus that it would help “build an America that works for the people, not just rich folks.”

Whenever anyone, especially a politician, starts a sentence with, “Let’s be clear,” you know they’re on the defensive.

As the Democratic presidential front-runners jockey for position as Giver-of-Free-Stuff in Chief, their promises on health care mostly sound like, as former Vice President Joe Biden would put it, “a bunch of malarkey.”

It’s a great time to be a woman in Congress — if you’re a Democrat.
