On behalf of FreedomWorks’ activist community, I urge you to contact your representatives and urge him or her to support the Right to Try Act, H.R. 878, introduced by Representatives Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa). This bill would prevent the federal government from interfering with state laws that already permit aspects of Right to Try, and it would grant terminally-ill patients access to drugs that have already passed the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) basic safety testing.
On behalf of FreedomWorks’ activist community, I urge you to contact your senators and strongly encourage them to cosponsor the Trickett Wendler Right to Try Act, S. 204, if they haven’t already. Introduced by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), the bill was introduced with 43 co-sponsors and has bipartisan support. The Trickett Wendler Right to Try Act would allow terminally ill patients to have access to potentially lifesaving drugs when no other alternatives exist.
On behalf of FreedomWorks’ activist community in Georgia, I urge you to contact your state representative and ask him or her to support, HR 37, sponsored by state Reps. Michael Caldwell (R-Woodstock), John Pezold (R-Fortson), Scot Turner (R-Holly Springs), and Wes Cantrell (R-Woodstock).
