How to Destroy a Nation

One year has passed since restaurants, bars, places of worship, and our children’s schools were shut down by power-hungry politicians. Government officials around the nation, blatantly ignoring the Constitution and preying on the fears of Americans, imposed draconian lockdowns that changed our way of life.

FreedomWorks is proud to announce that our bill of the month for March 2021 is a resolution on unspent COVID-19 stimulus funds, S.Res. 88 and H.Res. 127. Introduced by Sen. You Would Be Naive to Presume the $1.9 Trillion Is Targeted at COVID

As Congress sends the latest COVID-19 “stimulus” package to the White House for President Biden’s signature, the furious and unprecedented pace at which Congress continues to approve new funds has left many observers questioning where all the money has gone. The short answer to this question is that a significant portion of those funds haven’t gone anywhere.

Support the Student Empowerment Act, H.R. 605 and S. 44

On behalf of our activist community, I urge you to contact your representative and senators and ask them to cosponsor the Student Empowerment Act, H.R. 605 and S. 44. Introduced by Rep. Jason Smith (R-Mo.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), the Student Empowerment Act would further expand 529 education savings accounts to include K-12 elementary and secondary school expenses for public, private, and religious schools, including homeschool students.

Key Vote NO on President Biden’s Partisan Budget Resolution, H.Con.Res. 11

On behalf of our activist community, I urge you to contact your representative and ask him or her to vote NO on President Joe Biden’s blatantly partisan budget, H.Con.Res. 11. The entire purpose of H.Con.Res. 11 is to force legislation through Congress on party lines. Although the nascent Biden administration has had a message of “unity,” the use of budget reconciliation means that bipartisanship is being cast aside to advance a partisan agenda.

Key Vote NO on the Caring for Americans with Supplemental Help (CASH) Act, H.R. 9051

On behalf of FreedomWorks’ activist community, I urge you to contact your senators and ask them to vote NO on the Caring for Americans with Supplemental Help (CASH) Act, H.R. 9051. The CASH Act would amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to increase the direct payments included in the COVID-19 relief provisions of the recently passed Consolidated Appropriations Act from $600 to $2,000.

Georgia Runoffs Could Affect America's Reopening

As a Georgia native, I know that the Georgia Senate runoffs will affect far more than partisan control of Congress. It could also determine whether some working families and small-business owners retain their jobs and livelihoods in the months to come.
