Hello, and welcome back to an especially important installment of #SwampTakes. In case you missed it, the drunk-with-power Democrats have continued their onslaught on America’s institutional safeguards with multiple power grabs aimed at snuffing out the minority party.
Imagine this. You and your coworker show up to the last night of the Republican National Convention, happy to show support for your friends. You’ve both dedicated your lives to the cause, long believing that civic engagement is the best way to at once improve this country and make sure that freedom remains a reality for every citizen.
Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s pick of Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif. as his running mate is just the latest example of how the Democratic Party is moving further and further left. But it will be at this week’s Democratic National Convention, where the party will officially nominate Biden and agree to its 2020 platform, that the policy transformation will be complete.
The “progressive” Left has put together an "Saturday Night Live" sketch of presidential campaign promises, and they are just getting started. Welcome to the new Democratic Party.
