This resolution, identical to H.Res. 132 introduced by Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.), would provide for congressional disapproval of a March 2013 guidance document issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

The bill would provide targeted relief in the banking industry from onerous regulatory overreach into the financial sector created by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, commonly known as “Dodd-Frank.”
