FreedomWorks is proud to honor Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) as our member of the month for November 2020. Representing the state of Montana, which is one of nine states with a split Senate delegation, Senator Daines serves his state alongside the far inferior Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.). Always a staunch defender of liberty, it is no surprise that Sen. Daines’ slogan is “More Jobs. Less Government.” We could not agree more, and we thank the senator for standing up for his principles.
FreedomWorks is proud to honor Rep. Matt Gaetz as our member of the month for October 2020. Representing Florida’s 1st Congressional District, which encompasses Pensacola, Fort Walton Beach, and the far north-western position of the state, Rep. Gaetz has already demonstrated himself as a strong ally for freedom and liberty.
FreedomWorks is proud to honor Rep. Ted Yoho as our member of the month for July 2020. Representing Florida’s 3rd Congressional District, encompassing much of the area surrounding Gainesville, Rep. Yoho is a principled advocate for Floridians. Though he will not be seeking reelection in 2020, the work he has done in his past eight years is certainly worthy of commendation.
FreedomWorks is proud to honor Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) as our member of the month for June 2020. Having represented the people of South Carolina in some capacity since he was first elected to the Charleston City Council in 1995, Sen. Scott has proven himself a strong ally for liberty and a dedicated public official.
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- After announcing Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) as FreedomWorks’ Member of the Month for May 2020 and the VITAL Act, S. 3512, as FreedomWorks’ Bill of the Month for May 2020, Jason Pye, FreedomWorks Vice President of Legislative Affairs, commented:
FreedomWorks is proud to honor Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) as our member of the month for April 2020. Rep. Norman represents South Carolina’s 5th Congressional District, which encompasses the north-central part of the state. First elected in a June 2017 special election to succeed Mick Mulvaney, who became director of the Office of Management and Budget, Rep. Norman has proven to be a strong ally for liberty, holding a 100 percent score on the FreedomWorks Scorecard and has won our FreedomFighter Award twice.
FreedomWorks is proud to honor Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-Ariz.) as our member of the month for March 2020. Representing Arizona’s 8th Congressional District, located to the northwest of Phoenix, Rep. Lesko is a consistent, strong female voice for conservatism in the House of Representatives. The lone female member of the House Freedom Caucus and co-chair of the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues, Rep. Lesko is beyond deserving of FreedomWorks’ recognition in this Women’s History Month.
FreedomWorks is proud to honor Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) as our member of the month for February 2020. Representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the United States Senate since 2011, Sen. Toomey becomes our first-ever senator to be recognized as member of the month. This is well-deserved, as his principles, intellect, and compassion suit him well to represent his constituents and defend liberty, on everything from healthcare and taxes to trade and spending.
FreedomWorks is proud to honor Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas) as our member of the month for December 2019. Representing Texas’ 4th Congressional District, which encompasses the northeast corner of the state near Dallas, Rep. Ratcliffe has been a solid defender of freedom in the House of Representatives since 2015.
FreedomWorks is proud to honor Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) as our member of the month for October 2019. He is in his third term in the House of Representatives, serving since 2015 for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, which encompasses the eastern third of the state, mostly east of Denver.
