WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Last Friday, October 26 marked the end of the EPA and NHTSA’s comment period on the proposed changes to the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standard. As part of a FreedomWorks Regulatory Action Center (RAC) initiative, grassroots activists nationwide submitted more than 6,000 unique comments in support of proposed changes to the CAFE and greenhouse gas emission standards. FreedomWorks leads the effort amongst free-market grassroots groups working to support the Trump administration’s deregulatory agenda that puts American consumers and businesses first.
