FreedomWorks Foundation's Regulatory Action Center (RAC) submitted formal comments to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on their recent request for information. This request for information sought material on how best to rein in the regulatory state and how to make the adjudication and enforcement of federal regulations more fair for land-owners and businesses. RAC sought to answer questions posed by OMB to rein in out-of-control administrative agencies. That comment can be found in the attached file and excerpted below:

Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), the Bring ESA Into the 21st Century Act seeks to codify certain rules and regulations that would reform the Endangered Species Act (ESA) to better respect private property rights.

FreedomWorks Foundation's Regulatory Action Center (RAC) drove over 1,000 activist comments to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) proposal regarding methane. The proposed reform would modernize outdated Obama-era regulations that cost the taxpayers millions of dollars.

Last Friday, the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) closed the extended public comment period for their proposal to reform broad-based categorical eligibility for food stamps. The proposal would close a loophole that allowed thousands of Americans who did not qualify for food stamps to be eligible for benefits regardless.

The FreedomWorks Foundation's Regulatory Action Center (RAC) submitted formal comments to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in support of reforms to nuclear licensing fees. A reform to the structure of licensing fees would make it less expensive to operate a nuclear power plant and would ensure operators were not being charged by the government before they even begin service. This could lower energy costs for Americans.
