Hundreds of Activists to Converge on North Carolina Capitol to Demand ‘Less’ on Second Annual ‘Citizens for Sound Economy’ Day

On Tuesday, June 5, North Carolina Citizens for a Sound Economy (CSE) will hold its second annual “North Carolina CSE Day at the Capitol.”

Hundreds of CSE activists from across the state will converge on the state Capitol to demand less government and lower taxes.  The event will include several special guests including Sen. Lauch Faircloth, Rep. Walter B. Jones, and state House Minority Leader Leo Daughtry, among others.

“We anticipate that this event will be even more successful than our event last year,” said Jonathan Hill, director of North Carolina CSE.  “We expect literally hundreds of activists from across the state, from Charlotte to Winston-Salem to Greensboro to Wilmington, to show up to let their legislators know they want less.  Less government and less taxes, that is.”
