Citizens Rally in Raleigh Against Unconstitutional ObamaCare

Over 150 activists from across North Carolina converged on Raleigh to urge Attorney General Roy Cooper and Governor Perdue to join the growing lawsuit against the unconstitutional individual mandate provision in the health reform bill and the overreach of federal powers.

Commissioner of Labor Cherie Berry and Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler, who have been leading the charge against the plan both spoke at the early morning event.  The two recently tried to get a plan to sign onto the lawsuit passed in a council of state meeting and were ruled out of order.  It’s clear those two need the support of North Carolina voters to keep the pressure up on AG Cooper and Governor Perdue.

Below are pictures and video from the event.  The speaker in the video is Felice Pete, a medical doctor in the Raleigh area.
