NC Governor Roy Cooper Should Listen to North Carolinians on Offshore Drilling
Responding to reports that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is set to meet with North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper this weekend, FreedomWorks Vice President of Advocacy Noah Wall urged Governor Cooper to listen to several other elected officials in North Carolina who support the recent proposal by the Department of Interior to expand the nation’s offshore oil and gas exploration plan:
“We finally have a president who is checking the swamp’s bureaucracy in Washington, D.C. and who is opening up the possibility of utilizing our natural resources to benefit American families and economies.
“Governor Roy Cooper would do well to listen to the elected officials and citizens who support Interior’s exploration plan.”

Senators Richard Burr and Thom Thillis
