Vote Recommendations (Round Two) on Amendments and Motions to the Democrats’ Partisan Reconciliation Package, H.R. 1319

On behalf of FreedomWorks activists nationwide, I urge you to contact your senators and ask them to vote in the manner prescribed for each amendment or motion below to the Democrats’ Partisan Reconciliation Package, H.R. 1319, should these amendments be allowed votes.

FreedomWorks may count the votes on these amendments or motions for the purposes of our 2021 Congressional Scorecard and, as always, reserves the right to score any other amendments or motions not listed below that are brought to the floor for votes, as well as related procedural or other votes.

FreedomWorks recommends a “Yes” vote on all the following:

Amendment #1129 by Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) – Provide education savings accounts to students that are not provided in-person class

Amendment #1120 by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) – Eliminate additional funding for state/local under subtitle M of title IX

Amendment #1123 by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) – Prohibits state/local funding unless has authorized in-person learning

Amendment #1125 by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) – Prohibit state/local funds for states that have unspent relief funds

Amendment #1126 by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) – Requires schools to be in-person to receive funding

Amendment #1127 by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) – Prohibits education funding under this bill until previous law’s funding has been spent
