Rev C.L. Bryant gives dynamic speech at “Operation Rolling Thunder” prayer vigil

Charleston, SC: Operation Rolling Thunder, a prayer vigil for the nation and communities started Easter Sunday. Today, April 13, 2015, in Charleston, SC at the corner of Meeting and Lee street there’s a big white tent where leaders in the community are praying for the city. The Rev. C. L. Bryant was there. Rev. Bryant gave a dynamic speech asking for action. He said that we should not let the blackness of our skin prevent us from accomplishing our dreams. He drove home the point that it was time for the black community to stand up, take personal responsibility for our communities and be self-sufficient. It was a call to action that is growing across the country. The crowd, majority black and many youth, low income residents and the homeless, gave resounding applause as he spoke.
