PA School Choice Needs Our Help in the House

Pennsylvanians have good reason to celebrate the passage of school choice legislation through the state Senate, but there is still a lot of work left to do. Despite having the support of the governor and the vast majority of Pennsylvania voters, school choice faces an uphill battle in the House of Representatives.

That’s why it’s critical for supporters of educational freedom to make our voices heard in support of school choice. Please TAKE ACTION by calling or emailing these House Leaders to request their support for school choice and SB1:

Speaker: Sam Smith – (814) 938-4225 shsmith@pahousegop.com
Majority Leader: Mike Turzai – (412) 369-2230 mturzai@pahousegop.com
Whip: Stan Saylor – (717) 244-9232 ssaylor@pahousegop.com
Caucus Chair: Sandra Major – (570) 278-3374 smajor@pahousegop.com
Education Committee Chair: Paul Clymer – (215) 257-0279 pclymer@pahousegop.com

And don’t forget to join FreedomWorks and our coalition allies for a major rally in support of school choice at the Capitol in Harrisburg on November 15th at 1pm. This rally is our chance to send a message to every member of the state legislature that school choice remains a top priority for Pennsylvania voters. We’ve come a long way since January, and none of the success school choice has achieved so far would have been possible without the hard work put in by activists all over the state. Now FreedomWorks intends to finish this fight strong with a victory for Pennsylvania’s students, parents and taxpayers.
