The Murkowski Vote Cometh

After months of hard work, the Murkowski Resolution of Disapproval, will be up for a vote on June 10th.  This is an important resolution that could stop a massive EPA power grab.  FreedomWorks friend and ally Tom Borelli has a great update on this battle over at Townhall.com.

Murkowski Resolution Update

It looks like the long-awaited Murkowski Resolution of Disapproval will be up for vote shortly.  Many readers have taken action to urge their Senators to cosponsor the bill (if you haven't, do so here) and these efforts have helped bring the bipartisan support up to 41 cosponsors.

Slowly but surely, Democratic support for the EPA’s regulation of greenhouse gases is waning.  Recently, West Virginia Democratic Sen. John Rockefeller introduced legislation that would prohibit the EPA from going forward with its regulation scheme for the next two years. Sen. Two House Dems Move to Block EPA Regulations

Sen. Murkowski isn't the only one with a resolution to stop the EPA from regulating greenhouse gases under its endangerment finding.  Like the 41 Senators now backing the Murkowski resolution, a similar bipartisan efforts is now underway in the House: Two top House Democrats have introduced a measure aimed at blocking the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating pollution-causing greenhouse gases.
