EPA Wants More Money, Thinks Blood Comes From Stones

Apparently a mere $10 billion in FY11 isn't enough for EPA Adminstrator Lisa Jackson to finish her diabolical economy crushing plan.  So she trekked up to the Hill this week looking for more taxdollars to pay for greenhouse gas regs.

EPA Endangerment Finding Implications: Comments from an Aggrieved Party

It has been reported that 16 lawsuits have been officially filed against the EPA endangerment finding, a ruling by the agency that allows them to regulate greenhouse gases as pollutants under the Clean Air Act.

Arkansas Action Alert

An important vote is coming up in the U.S. Senate that could help shape the climate change debate.   Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) has introduced a resolution of disapproval to challenge the Environmental Protection Agency’s “endangerment” finding, which allows the EPA to treat carbon dioxide (CO2) as a pollutant and therefore regulate it under the Clean Air Act. This is the Obama Administration’s way of setting the stage for cap and trade.

It Came From the EPA

Scott Brown's election may have halted the specter of cap and trade for now, but that doesn't mean the Administration is stepping back from energy regulation any day soon.  The Administration isn't going to let a little thing like the fact that cap and trade would gut the economy, the fact that many oppose the plan, the fact that this opposition is growing, and the fact that voters in Massachusetts just sent a resounding message of disapproval of such big government machinations.

White House Bullying Congress into Cap and Trade

The EPA's findings on carbon dioxide earlier this week came as a surprise to few.  And the timing, in light of Copenhagen, couldn't be better for the Administration (sheer coincidence, we're sure).  Now it looks like the Administration isn't just going to bask in the sunlight of getting something done just in time for Obama's big speech in Oslo.  The White House is http://www.foxnews.com/politics

EPA, Waxman-Markey Join Forces to Raise Energy Costs

New FreedomWorks member and geophysicist, Dennis Henke of Wichita, KS is testifying today before the EPA at a hearing about the regulation of CO2 - carbon dioxide, gas we all exhale and that the EPA recently declared to be a harmful greenhouse gas worthy of regulation under the Clean Air Act.    In a press release, Henke points out the faulty science and poor logic behind the ruling.

A knife in the heart of the EPA's anti-free market agenda

A recently released memo from the Office of Management and Budget commenting on the Environmental Protection Agency’s “proposed findings” is one of the most remarkable criticisms of a government agency that I’ve ever seen from another branch of government. Read an article about the memo here, and click on a link within the article to see the memo itself. The memo is only 9 pages, and it’s a must-read for anyone who wants intellectual ammunition against the takeover of our entire economy by the left.
