New Hampshire Citizens for a Sound Economy (NH CSE) State Director Chuck McGee announced today that the Bedford CSE chapter would be recommending a “No” vote on all the articles before the voters of Bedford on the March 9th election.
“The members of B-CSE have worked diligently to promote fair and responsible fiscal policy for the citizens of Bedford but an unreasonable few persist on putting personal agendas’ before the will of the people,” said McGee. “The Union Leader newspaper has even gone so far as to call the actions of these few; ‘Election Theft’. Time and again, the citizens of Bedford have been promised a second stand alone vote for the Manchester tuition contract but are denied by the very people who were elected to represent them.”
In November of 2003 the citizens of Bedford successfully boycotted and defeated a proposal to build a new high school and sign the Manchester tuition contract after town officials refused to separate the two, opposing ideas.
“On March 9th the residents of Bedford can send a clear message to town officials and those promoting personal agenda’s by voting “No” on each and every one of the ballot articles,” concluded McGee.
