Arkansans Fight Back Against Medicaid Expansion

The Southern State of Arkansas is where the newest battle against ObamaCare is taking place. A strong grassroots campaign has formed to place a voter referendum on the ballot seeking to repeal the state’s recent Medicaid expansion. But the battle in Arkansas is not the traditional fight seen in other states.

Arizona Governor Brewer and Medicaid Cronyism

Updated 6/14/2013Arizona Governor Janice Brewer, after publicly opposing Obamacare before the 2012 elections, has been trying ever since to implement the deeply unpopular law with the expansion of Medicaid in her state.  Her push to implement this expansion of the already failing Obamacare is a tale of cronyism and backroom deals. In the end if she is successful it will only benefit the dealmakers, not the people of Arizona.

Illinois Should Not Expand Its Medicaid Industrial Complex

Illinois, like other states, is considering expanding its Medicaid program as envisioned under Obamacare. Doing so takes money that America doesn't have to provide bad health insurance to young, healthy people who don't need it, for the benefit of the people with the best lobbyists.

All Things (ObamaCare) Fall Apart

The hits just keep coming for President Obama’s beleaguered health care reform law. If you’ve had trouble keeping up with all of the bad news surrounding ObamaCare, I don’t blame you. For the sake of convenience, let’s take a look at some of this news and then consider the “big picture” for the floundering Affordable Care Act.

Arkansas Should Not Expand Its Obamacare Exchange

Today, the state of Arkansas is considering funding for what they call a "private option" for Medicaid expansion under Obamacare. It's really just a different way to expand socialized medicine.  The Arkansas legislature should not fund this boondoggle.
