Paul Ryan’s Two Paths

Representative Paul Ryan (R-WI) often insists that America faces a choice of two futures. Ryan lays out this stark choice in a video promoting his latest budget:  "Americans have a choice to make. A choice that’s going to determine our country’s future. Will it be the future that looks like the America we know? One of greater opportunity, greater prosperity? Or more of what we’re seeing today? Debt, doubt, and decline. Americans, not Washington, should decide." - Rep. Paul Ryan

House Passes Ryan’s Budget 228-191, Rejects Obama’s 0-414

Today, the House passed a budget -- something Senate Democrats haven’t bothered to do in nearly three years (1,065 days, to be exact). The budget, drafted by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, resembles last year’s Ryan budget. It now goes to the Senate, where Harry Reid and his fellow Democrats aren’t likely to take it up.  The House also voted on President Obama’s budget. Want to guess how many votes it got? Zero. That’s right. No one voted for it, not even the Democrats. Ouch. That’s gotta hurt.

An Update on the Paul Ryan Budget

Congressman Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) budget, named “The Path to Prosperity: A Blueprint for American Renewal”, is moving quickly through the halls of Congress. Even though it was introduced just two days ago, the budget was already approved yesterday by the House Budget Committee, which reported the proposal to the full House of Representatives for a vote.  The vote was narrow and largely fell down partisan lines, but the bill passed by a 19-18 vote.

Paul Ryan's Path to Prosperity, Episode 2

Paul Ryan and his team have once again done an incredible job explaining his Path to Prosperity. They've set the bar high, and present a strong challenge to Democrats in the Senate. This may be the most substantive and visually relevant explanations of his plan in existence. It lays things out clearly, going all in and refusing to hide behind demagoguery. Ryan has a plan.
