Speaker Mike Johnson’s recent flip-flop on FISA Section 702 reform is nothing short of spineless. For reasons unknown, he went from voting for reforms that would protect Americans from illegal spying to now, as Speaker of the House, capitulating to the desires of the U.S. surveillance state. He’s turned his back on the American people and our precious Fourth Amendment rights.
