RECAP: Successful Launch of FreedomTeams in Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District

FreedomWorks’ Grassroots Team, in collaboration with StandUp Michigan, achieved a major success during the launch of the Michigan 3 FreedomTeams in the Grand Rapids area. This event, part of FreedomWorks’ Fall tour, showcased the power of grassroots activism and the importance of preparing for demographic changes in the political landscape.

The event, graced by the presence of three state representatives and seven local groups, commenced with opening remarks by Ron Armstrong, President of StandUp Michigan. The discussion that followed focused on the significant demographic shifts taking place in the United States. It was revealed that by 2026, Millennials and Generation Z will constitute the majority of the electorate. Recognizing the need to resonate with these younger voters on key issues, activists engaged in a thoughtful dialogue about the future of elections.

FreedomWorks’ VP of Programs, Laura Zorc, and Deputy Director, Zach Laba, took the stage to educate the grassroots community on effective lobbying techniques and how to leverage the media to advance the pro-liberty mission.
