Florida FreedomWorks Members Meet with Congressman Adam Putnam (12th District)

On Tuesday Feb 5th, Florida FreedomWorks VCL Tom Gaitens met with Congressman Adam Putnam (12th) to discuss various issues concerning the members of FreedomWorks.

Congressman Putnam agreed to be part of a future Social Security Reform Forum or Debate that FreedomWorks is planning for Sun City, Florida, sometime in the near future.

Additionally Congressman Putnam agreed to the import and urgency of Social Security reform. He fully agrees that the time and scope needs to be now and all the way with regards to reform. He supports our belief that revisiting this issue is unlikely and that we need to strike while the iron is heating up.

The Congressman is also in support of the TELECOM bill, “Video Choice Act of 2005”, but would like us to send him more info regarding this bill as he considers to put his name on as a co-sponsor. Cong. Putnam also supports FREEDOMWORKS and the full repeal of DEATH TAXES. Tom Gaitens reiterated to the CONGRESSMAN our intentions to push our agenda to top of the mountain and over and he offered his support of FreedomWorks issues.

Tom Gaitens commented “overall Congressman Putnam is an excellent example of the terrific support FREEDOMWORKS recieves from likeminded conservatives. WE are lucky to have a good man like Congressman Putnam in our FL delegation. Issue for Issue he is on our side in the battle to secure our blessings and liberty.”
