Following the conclusion of the Iowa Republican Caucus, FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon commented:
“Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio finished strong tonight in Iowa. This litmus test for the nation shows that grassroots activists are tired of stale, uninspiring candidates who don’t offer them anything new and prefer those who present a pro-growth, fiscally conservative message that they can get behind. Overall, it was a good night for grassroots candidates and a bad one for the Republican establishment.”
Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio have 98 percent and 88 percent lifetime scores, respectively, on FreedomWorks’ Congressional Scorecard.
