Ahead of tonight’s Republican presidential debate in Denver, Colorado, FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon commented:
“We hope to hear substance in this tonight, rather than the reality TV show and personality-centric atmosphere of the two previous debates. Just today, for example, another ObamaCare state insurance cooperative collapsed and consumers in many states are still seeing rising premiums. Americans deserve to know how Republican hopefuls plan to repeal and replace this poorly conceived and disastrous law with a patient-centered alternative.”
“Just as important, Republicans must clearly lay out a pro-growth agenda for the economy and how they intend to curb the growth of the regulatory state if they were to win the White House. We’d also like to hear whether they support or oppose the Obama-Boehner budget, which is a betrayal of fiscally conservative principles.”
