WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the introduction of the Federal Employee Disclosure (FED) Transparency Act, H.R. 2612, by Rep. Jody Hice (R-Ga.), FreedomWorks has issued a letter of support. Jason Pye, FreedomWorks Vice President of Legislative Affairs, commented:
On behalf of our activist community, I urge you to contact your representative and ask him or her to cosponsor the Federal Employee Disclosure (FED) Transparency Act, H.R. 2612. Introduced by Rep. Jody Hice (R-Ga.), the FED Transparency Act would require the disclosure of federal pension records under the Freedom of Information Act and a report from agency heads on performance bonuses given to employees.
On behalf of FreedomWorks activists nationwide, I urge you to contact your representative and ask him or her to vote in the manner prescribed for each amendment below to the Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, H.R. 6147. As is always the case, FreedomWorks reserves the right to key vote any amendment brought to the floor for a vote.
FreedomWorks is proud to announce that our bill of the month for February 2018 is the Presidential Allowance Modernization Act, H.R. 3739, sponsored by Rep. Jody Hice (R-Ga.).
