Among the latest assaults is the Department of Energy’s (DOE) proposed rule on dishwashers (and washing machines and clothes dryers), which seems designed to return housekeeping to the days before appliances were widely available.

Today, FreedomWorks Foundation submitted a formal comment opposing a proposed rule by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that would repeal President Trump's revised definition of "Waters of the United States."

FreedomWorks is proud to announce that our bill of the month for November 2020 is an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to require legislative approval for certain regulations, H.J.Res. 71, introduced by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.). This amendment would require congressional approval for any regulation for which one-fourth of either chamber has signed a petition of disapproval.

If you happen to peruse Joe Biden’s campaign website, you will find a laundry list of “Biden Plans” for everything from ending racism to reintroducing the failed Cash for Clunkers program for electric vehicles. Among these patently ridiculous proposals sits a seemingly innocuous promise to “establish a technology-neutral Energy Efficiency and Clean Electricity Standard (EECES) for utilities and grid operators.” But behind its sweet sounding title, creating a national EECES could prove to be a disaster for the energy sector.
